What: Welcome fall at Easy Tiger with four seasonal pumpkin-centric brews including Boulevard Funky Pumpkin, Dogfish Head Punkin Ale, Southern Tier Warlock, and Avery Pump(KY)n.Update: The beers are all sold out.

Wednesday, October 5
Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas Alaskan Beer Dinner
What: The Alamo Drafthouse has partnered with Alaskan Brewing Co. to bring you a four-course beer dinner to accompany the film adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson’s booze-soaked and drug-driven rollicking adventure pop-culture classic.

Thursday, October 6
Gruene Music & Wine Fest
What: It’s a four-day wine, food, and music filled festival with weekend highlighting including a Saturday event with nearly 100 Texas wines, a Sunday beer tasting, and lots of Texas tunes.
Details: From Thursday, October 6 to Sunday, October 9 in the Gruene Historic District, New Braunfels. Benefiting the United Way of Comal County. Tickets (sold per event) here.
Burgers, Bourbon & Beer
What: Every Thursday night Goodall’s Kitchen is offering $10 burgers, $5 bourbon, and select $3 beer specials between 5 and 10 p.m. Plus, this Thursday Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey will also be offering complimentary bourbon tastings from 5 to 7 p.m.

Fifth Annual Edible Austin Chef Auction
What: Get Shawn Cirkiel of Parkside, Backspace, and Bullfight fame in your kitchen! Edible Austin’s annual fundraiser gives bidders the opportunity to secure a unique dining opportunity with some of the city’s most respected chefs including Tyson Cole of Uchi and Uchiko; Sonya Coté of Eden East and Hillside Pharmacy, Shawn Cirkiel, and many more. Enjoy sips and bites from chefs participating in the auction, Paula’s Texas Spirits, OTR: On the Rocks Premium Cocktails, Bending Branch Winery, Real Ale Brewing, Texas Coffee Traders, and Delysia Chocolatier.

2nd Annual Oktoberfest Crowler Cup
What: Oktoberfest is getting competitive at Cuvee Coffee Bar. This Thursday, 10 Oktoberfest biers will bid to be crowned the victor of the Crowler Cup. Cast your vote by purchasing your beer of choice, then eat wurst, dance the polka, and watch for spills during the stein hoisting competition.
