The city of West Lake Hills will hold a Fourth of July celebration from 8:45 a.m. to noon at Northstar Bank, 101 Westlake Drive, Austin. For information: westlakechamber.com.
Plans are underway for the Rollingwood’s 4th of July Parade, Picnic and Fireworks event. The day’s activities will begin with the parade at 9 a.m. The line-up time is 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Wallis and Rollingwood Drive. Children are invited to decorate wagons and bikes and participate. Cars and floats will line up along Riley Road. After the parade down Rollingwood Drive, the fun turns to the Municipal Park next to City Hall, 403 Nixon Drive. Post-parade activities include live music, face painting and games. Food, water and more will be available for purchase. Raffle tickets for great prizes and flags will be on sale during the event. Drawings will be held at the park.
